TEENJOK SARONGS
This extremely valuable handicraft has been inherited from the Thai Yuan people . It  is fascinating watching it being made and selecting which piece to buy at the Centre for the Continuation of the Art of Pha Jok, Wat Kae Sai, Tambon Koo Bua, about 4 kms. From Ratchaburi city centre. The centre is open daily and the telephone number is 300031 or 01-9968586. While you are in this area, one other place well worth visiting is Ban Khun Yai Sorn, telephone 352699, in the soi diagonally opposite the centre.

KHAO LOI MOONKHO BRASSWARE
Brassware has been made since the begining of civilization. Mostly  small bells, ancient dolls and different kinds of animals. THAI MOUTH ORGANS & FLUTES (KHAN & KHLUY)
These simple Thai musical instruments are very popular in both the central and northeastern regions of Thailand. Many are made at Muu 12, Tambon Koobua, about 6 kilometres along the Thao-U-Thong Road from Amphur  Muang, near Ban Khun Yai Sorn sarong weavers.

YUAN PATTERNED CLOTH
These long strips of cloth have beautiful coloured patterns woven  onto them in the style favoured by members of the Yuan tribe. Manufactured in Tambon Don Rae, Amphu Muang, Ratchaburi, they can be seen and purchased at Ban Khun Yai Sorn, telephone 352699.

BAN RAI PATTERNED CLOTH
These strips of cloth are made from top-quality  cotton and have colourful chequered patterns. Nowadays, they are no longer made by hand, but  by machine, however the excellent quality has remained unchanged.  They can be Purchased in many shops or at Sangwam Karntho, Ban khong, Amphur Phottaram.

VINE WICKERWORK
Produced from grapevines, creepers and reeds in practical modern styles, they can be seen and purchased from the shop adjoining the dolls'shop, in Ban O-po, Tambon  Ban Sing, Amphur Phottaram.

CLOTH DOLLS & KAPOK MATTRESSES
These are relatively new local products which have quickly become very popular because of their appealing features and inexpensive price. Many are made and available for sale on both sides of the Petchkasem Road in Tambon Ban  Sing, Amphur Phottaram.  Most notably O-por shop, telephone 356058.

KAREN OR KRARIANG BAGS
These are a bi-product of the bags which the Thai Tanawsri originally wove for themselves.  They are sold at Muu 1,  Tambon Ban Bung,  Amphur Ban Kha Sub-District.
